We have worked on countless building projects, in both brick and stone, across Derbyshire and throughout the UK. The following are some of our most notable recent projects:
Derelict barn in Monyash we managed the whole project from start to finish which included rebuilding part of the barn, complete new roof, drainage system, floors doors and windows and a outside patio area. The client was delighted with the results.
This single storey accessible stone extension was carried out on a local authority property, and included a bedroom and wet room. We worked closely with the local authority and the architectural designer to ensure that the extension met the tenant’s needs.
We built this two storey brick extension for a disabled client in Newbold. The extension included a bedroom, accessible shower room, and a lift. The project was not without its problems as the company who manufactured the bricks used for the rest of the house was no longer in business. However, we were not going to settle for a poor match, and with a lot of searching we managed to find an alternative of the same colouring and finish that looked just like the existing brickwork.
This award-winning project involved the construction of a stone ‘conservatory’ on a cottage in Matlock. Access was a big problem during this project, as there was no way of getting skips or machinery round to the site. Everything had to be taken to and from the site using wheel barrows; however the end result made the arduous task worthwhile. The client was delighted with the result, and we were awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Federation of Master Builders.
Pearson are a barn conversion specialist based in Derbyshire. When a previous client purchased a derelict barn in Norfolk to convert, they immediately called on us to quote for the job. The price we quoted was competitive even against local builders, and as they already knew the quality of our work and our professional approach we were awarded the contract. Managing the whole project from start to finish, we carried out all of the building work in brick and pebble, in keeping with the tradition of the local area. We also added a complete new roof, a Klargester drainage system, new flooring and decoration throughout (including underfloor heating), and a new driveway. The client was delighted with the results, and is now planning another project!
