Pearson Construction is run by Neale Pearson. Having started in the building trade in 1966, we have a large and impressive portfolio of completed jobs, and many happy customers. Much of our work comes through recommendation or word of mouth, which to us is the greatest compliment, and we now find that we’re working for the second generation of clients’ families.
We are well known locally for our abilities in stone masonry, and for taking on complex, challenging projects that many builders would not have the knowledge or experience to even attempt. Our refurbishments include many church repairs and barn conversions, and we are always sympathetic to the existing structure and aesthetics of these old buildings, expertly blending any additional building or repairs to the original stone work so that you can barely tell new from old. We also carry out a lot of building, extension and conversion work for the Derbyshire County Council, often adding accessible extensions, bedrooms or wet rooms for disabled clients. This type of work requires our specialist knowledge and expertise, as well as tight budget and scheduling control.
Working closely with architects and designers, we manage whole projects from start to finish, sourcing materials, managing sub-contractors, and overseeing scheduling and progress to make sure the project is a straight-forward and hassle free as possible for our clients. Because health and safety on site is paramount, we have a dedicated health and safety officer who carries out all necessary checks and risk assessments, keeping abreast of new industry regulations and legislation at all times.
Taking great pride in our work, we have been commended by the Federation of Master Builders, who presented us with a Certificate of Merit Award for one of our Derbyshire renovation projects.
